Thank you for showing that quilt! It is beautiful!!! A friend of mine has a daughter, Matai, who is graduating next year from high school. Matai is in school clubs, church groups, etc. and her mom wants me to make her a t-shirt quilt for graduation. Silly me, I said I would so now I have to find out how to do it.

It isn't hard, but it does take some patience. I start by cutting the t-shirt in half up the sides and across the shoulders. Then I use a larger piece of French Fuse than I need. I HIGHLY recommend a pressing cloth because it can get all over your iron. After the t-shirt is stabilized, you can easily cut it into squares or rectangles or whatever. It's still a tiny bit stretchy, but it's way easier to work with than if you don't stabilize it. The French Fuse also helps give older t-shirts a little more support.

Love the tshirt quilt. I still haven't learned to do that yet. I haven't sewn much at all since I opened the shop. Goodness time does fly. To be able to talk to you live would be pretty cool. Like meeting a celebrity LOL. Have a wonderful day!

Thank you! I've made a couple of t-shirt quilts and while they aren't my favorite thing to make, the big pieces sure do go fast!

The owner of the shop where I used to do social media had a machine in the store and would sneak in sewing on her lunch break. ;)

My 19-year-old is helping me with the live stream details. Hopefully, that will start sometime in June!

The second PPV block is really fantastic... it looks so much better!

The quilt for Elena looks really great! The supporting fabrics are great (especially those foxes, of course :D)

I knew 20% into that first PPV block that I didn't like it, but I kept going anyway. Ah well!

She LOVES the foxes. LOVES LOVES them. :D
