Woo hoo for almost finished Wine quilt. I suspect you'll be able to get it labeled this weekend. ;)

I'm also at the point where I don't really have yardage. Good find on the old PPV fabric. The name even works!

The kitty quilt is very sweet and woo gift card! :) Getting to hear about the facilities is always such an emotional experience. Passing out tissues is such a good idea!

Thanks for the birthday wishes! *glomps*

Of course you are a winner - we've known that since we've known you! However, it is always good to get prizes, and especially when they are really cute (kitty wall hanging) and/or practical (gift card).

WTG on "almost" finishing the quilt. Can't wait to see it next week.

I am so close! About halfway done with the pillowcase now. So i think I will definitely be able to show a washed and ready to mail quilt next week.

I kept wrestling with what to call it... then I was like, yeah, that'll do. ;) Especially since it's a gift for my sister's 60th birthday.

I really like your name for the quilt it's a great one, do you name them all ?

Really fun prizes and great to find out what happens to all your Linus quilts xx

I don't necessarily name my Project Linus quilts, because I don't label them other than our official Project Linus label. But quilts I make for personal use or gifts get names. My brother's last year was called "Musical improvisation" because I made it up as I went along out of music-themed fabric I found in my stash. I even name knitted/crocheted projects, too. Not sure why I started that, but it seems like I always do it.

It's really good to be reminded of why we are doing this in the first place. And why we want to do our best.
