ttmt - we have a house ---- potentially

completely forgot to mention the new season on Doctor Who, I enjoyed it , although i thought the whole gay part was glossed over and not given enough attention to make it relevant to the story. Its about time we had a Gay assistant again but it was very throw away and seemed to be there to hit some BBC quota rather then to move the story along. Sorry , rant over.

The house sounds wonderful! I hope everything goes very smoothly. Fingers crossed!

The erumpant (sp?) is great. And the panda quilt is adorable. And the pillow is lovely as well. Good idea to get your son's teacher gift done early.

Sounds like a great house! I'll cross my fingers for you too :D

The little panda blanket is adorable! Great choice. I've started including a note with my baby blankets saying that they're meant to be used and can be machine washed/dryed with your regular laundry soap so throw them on the floor/sand/grass whereever works best. A lot of people freak out with handmade that they're going to RUIN it somehow, so I think knowing they can wash them same as the regular bed blankets makes it a little easier for them to actually use it.

The erumpent looks awesome... big block!

That's a great idea for a note, I made my niece a sleeping beauty quilt a couple of years ago and she made me wash it first but I love the fact that it gets used as a play mat. Xxx

I don't exactly envy you about the moving process itself but I do about the move, if that makes sense. I've gotten addicted to a show called Escape to the Country and just watched one on the Nottingham area. Really pretty in through there.

Love the panda, it's so cute!

I watched the season opener of DW and thought it was okay. No matter what, Bill has the great advantage of not being Clara. :) I never have quite gotten into Capaldi's Doctor which is a shame since he's such a fan of the show, but he's somehow difficult to like. I'm hoping when the Master shows up Missy will be revealed to be the Rani, but that probably won't happen.

I totally get what you mean with the moving. It's really exciting and scary at the same time, I have made friends here and leaving to start gain on a new area is pretty scary. I am also so much older and more art on my ways then when I moved up country to be with my hubby.

Nottingham is a lovely city and I can't wait to explore it with the kids and hubby.

I get the Clara thing, I really didn't love her. I was not expecting to like Bill as I thought she was another rose type character and we have done that. I did like her though which surprised me, I love Matt Lucas character he is great. I love Capaldi as an actor but he hasn't had the scripts and story lines of Matt smith and David tennant. I can't wait to see him with the Master and what that play out but worry he is not dark enough to stand up to that story. I suppose time will tell and the rumoured next doctor Chris Marshall would be great. I love your prediction about Missy, can't wait to see if it pans out xxxx

I had to look up Chris Marshall...back to a young Doctor probably? The only rumors I've heard were about Aiden Turner (Poldark, Hobbit movies) or Richard Aoyade, who might be interesting but I can't imagine he'd do it.

Just read that "Bill" is a nod to William Hartnell who was called Bill by friends, and "Heather" was the name of his wife.

Sounds like a lovely house, and 5 bedrooms! That means room for a sewing room. :)

Great job on the erumpent. What a large block!

I love the idea of the panda quilt. It's adorable. And even if she doesn't decide to hang it in the baby room she teaches little kids so maybe she could put it in her classroom. It would be great for either. I lean toward just bright colors or prints in general anyway, regardless of gender, because I guess I just prefer them to pastels. fun and bright, that's my motto!

Best luck with the new house and getting the children all squared away in new schools. Are they excited about the idea of moving?

I am very excited about the move . The house is much nicer then our current place and that's exciting to. Just getting things cleaned and sorted here and that's not so exciting.

I like the idea of the panda in a classroom that would be great xx

Congrats on finding a place to live, that's lovely!

I'm amazed at how much you've done in between packing!

I once met Edyta. She's just as amazing and kind as you'd imagine. Her accuracy is unbelievable.
