So good to see you again. Sounds like a lovely holiday except for the work. What I wouldn't give to win Publisher's Clearing House Sweepstakes so I never had to work again.

You will be able to catch up if you start PPV late. Most definitely. I'm going to pick up where I left off from the original quilt a long (I only made it to March and then I goot busy with other things). but I think I'm also going to start a new one with some fabric I like better. The one I like least will become a gift for someone else later, lol.

We don't have any snow here either, and we're about a mile above sea level in the mountains. So yeah. It has been colder lately though, after a very warm start to the winter.

I thought of you when I read that George Michael lived in Oxfordshire and wondered how close y'all lived to him.

Love your fabric.

It is so good to see you. ♥

The end of the year was a rough one. I am very grateful that I had time to spend with my family away from the craziness.

I do remember how exciting and fun my first few weeks with my serger were. I have a Brother serger, so unfortunately, I can't help with that. I have had very good luck with Gutterman serger thread. It seems to shred less. I use it in bits & starts and it's still fun!

I always say I'm not going to start anything new, but that NEVER happens. So glad you're quilting along with Labyrinth and I do hope you'll jump in with PPV. I know you can do it! ♥

The snow was WONDERFUL! So was the break. :)

So glad to see your face - squinting or not.

Congrats on getting your serger. I think you will love making clothing with it. I haven't used mine since I am not making theater costumes. I didn't get it out when making my dress for Pat and Vanessa's wedding. Mine is a Baby Lock Eclipse and I have no idea what kind of thread I've been using. I bought 4 cones when I bought the machine and haven't had to buy any other since. Since I was making costumes, I chose light gray thinking that it wouldn't matter if the thread matched exactly. And it was fine.

I also want to finish some things (My Favorite Things is at the top of the list) before starting too many others. I will do Paper Piecing Vintage again. The one I made is in my top 3 favorite quilt tops I've made. The other 2 are my Harry Potter quilts.

I am looking forward to seeing more of your talents during 2017.
