THAT MERMAID BLANKET!! It's genius. Absolutely genius. I'm tempted to try it for my daughter and she's 21!

Yay for paper piecing! I'm so glad you're making something for your friend and her kiddos. No one appreciates a crafty gift like a crafty friend!

Your friend will really appreciate the gift becasue she KNOWS what it takes to make it happen. I used to be intimidated to make for Jen, but I just try to think of things she might not make for herself. It's not easy though!

So glad you fell in love with pp again. I really think your did a fabulous job. And it's good to hear and see you again!

ETA that mermaid blanket is so genius. I have never seen a sewn one before. DId you come up with that on your own because you are brilliant.

I have a friend whose mother, who died about 5 years ago, was a fantastic seamstress and quilter. When Marie came over last Halloween for her son to trick-or-treat, I gave him a trick-or-treat bag I had made and gave her a purse. She cried because, "Nobody has ever made anything for me but my mother." I almost didn't give it to her because I didn't think it was up to her mother's standards. All that was to say that your friend will be thrilled just because of the love you put into it as you made her gift! And besides, I've seen your work and I don't know of anyone any more creative, imaginative and talented than you are.

That mermaid blanket is fabulous! And the little dress is super cute!

Welcome back to paper-piecing. I love Malificent (sp?). She is my very favorite Disney villian.

I love that mermaid blanket.
Welcome back to paper piecing. I just can't stop it a bit like a drug, I think.
