Lots of fun things in the works! Particularly those adorable Lunas and that Henry VIII cross-stitch. Fun!! I loved visiting Hampton Court two summers past. That dude was nuts! I also love teaching my students about him, his ridiculous love life, and his "syphilis pants."

I have got to get over to Ikea. My sewing room is a mess, and I need some storage! Yours looks quite nice :)

Love Henry 8 but its really hard explaining the wives to a 7 year old and a four year old xx

Big hugs on sending your little one off to school!

Well, my haven't you been busy! Great practical stuff with fun fabrics to go with your cross stitch projects.

Welcome back!

I've done tent stitch on even weave fabric, which is just... hard on the eyes. Aida is useful :D

I find cross-stitch so dull to do, but I do love the results. Look like you're working on some really neat projects! I look forward to seeing that Potter/Who one especially.

I agree that some of the patterns are dull, I like a lot of colour changes , evenweace scares me, maybe next year xx

Nice idea to make the cross stitch project bags. I have that same Henry VIII pattern, but I know full well I'll never do it.

It's a weird one, I've had it a while but only stitched a little on it, I think I need to get one of the wives done and that will hopefully inspire me to get going on it. I challenge you to get your out and stitch a wife with me..... go on you know you want to 😊

I may have to do that once Mom is back home...not sure when that will be, but it'd be something fun to look forward to. :) Looking forward to seeing how yours progresses. :)

Wow! You have been a busy girl! I understand what you mean about wanting to spend more time with your husband. When I'm in sewing mode, it seems that I'm isolated in my little world.

Your project bags are terrific and the protective band around the edges of the projects is really clever.

I can't wait to see the finished products, esp. HP and Dr. Who and Henry VIII. He was such an interesting character!

No rush! I'll be thrilled whenever it gets here.

I love the bags you made for your projects. What a great way to keep everything you need together.

The Luna stitch is very adorable. She and Neville are my favorite characters, for sure.

I am jealous of all you people with IKEAs. I have to drive like 8+ hours to reach the nearest one. Such a bummer for me, because I love so many of their offerings, especially furniture.
