Conference, YAY!

That jelly roll is just stunning and the makeup bag...perfect!

Oh, silly package! I've had similar things happen recently. My favorite story is a package that had made it to Houston and said it'd be delivered in 10 days. We all wondered if it was going to be WALKED here. It ended up showing up the next day. :P

ARGHHH!!! Waiting for shipments can be so frustrating!!!

I like the jelly roll. Vanda chose well.

Your blanket is coming along so well. You do such beautiful work!

Have fun tomorrow - well all but the license plate thing. I just hope there isn't a long line for you. Have a grand time at the conference.

If I buy something from a quilt shop 70 miles north of here, it has to go 60 miles up the road from there to a larger city, then back down the Interstate (which passes about 10 miles from my house) to Knoxville which is about 120 miles from me, then back up the Interstate to here. So something like 430 miles' trip for a package from an hour away. Efficiency!!

Oh geez, I had that happen with a book Phebe needed for a class last year. It took FOREVER. Not using anyone that uses fedex supersaver any more. Non-priority parcel post or media mail would have gotten here WAY faster.

That jelly roll is awesome. Yay for surprise fabric in the mail! I hate having to be grown up and use my day off for adulting like renewing my DL or license plates. Boo.

The blanket is looking great! Your cousin (?) is going to love it.

Sorry for your shipping woes. I'm always terrified when I send things out, because I'm worried that it won't make it to its destination. When I was in college, I had the cast of our production of "Phantom" sign a white half-mask for my cousin who loves the show, and it never made it to him :(
