The crochet blanket is beautiful.
And well done on the knitting, they are lovely. I like the one, that looks nearly tie dye.
The embroidered logos is very nice. Definitely going to look at those bath sheets, ours are not that big here, can't even wrap them around me.
Whoo for sewing again, doesn't it feel like a part of you is missing when you can't sew?
Argh, for having to rip out your block, that sucks. I am sure you can finish the quilt in time, you can do it.
So glad you are improving with your foot, hopefully you have good news on Friday.

The knitting has been fun. It pleases me that I learned something new!

I'm the smallest person in my family (hubby is 6'5"...almost 2 meters tall), so big towels are a thing for us. My son isn't quite that tall, but we are a little spoiled with big towels!

Being able to sew again has been wonderful! I just finished another block for my son's quilt.

I'm hoping for good news on Friday, too. I am a little nervous because the doctor tends to bend my toe every which way to make sure it's working correctly so I'll be sore after!

Aw, thanks so much for the birthday wishes! Much appreciated. :D

Congrats on breaking the knitting barrier! I have yet to do that - just can't get the tension right. Yours looks nice and even.

The towels look great, very professional. Also, online shopping is awesome. Maybe a little too awesome at times, says my bank account. :)

I knew you'd find a creative way to sew again!

You are very welcome! I know it's not until tomorrow, but it's never too soon! *hugs*

I started that yellow dishcloth over and over to get it right. I may never make anything more exciting, but it's good to be passed that mental block!

Online shopping has saved me for dorm supplies. My daughter and I had such a blast getting the things she needed, but Gareth just isn't a shopper, so it wasn't a big deal for him as long as he has what he needs.

It had been almost six weeks since I sat down at my machine. It felt SO GOOD.

YAY SEWING!!! You will have that quilt done in plenty of time. When you need to be, you are Speedy Gonzalez. Sorry you had to rip out the block. Glad it was fixable though.

I like the wash cloths, especially one made with variegated yarn. And the towels are beautiful. Hmmm, makes me wonder if Pat and Vanessa need Mr. & Mrs. towels.

I am so glad your recovery is coming along so well. I'll bet your doctor will be proud of you.

Progress has already been made! I finished another block after posting this. The tedious part is pulling all the 2 1/2" squares and getting them organized, which I find impossible to do while sitting, so lots of breaks!

The towels were quite easy to do! I watched several videos and practiced on an old towel first.

I hope the doctor is as pleased as I am. It has definitely felt like I've turned a corner this week.

I am so glad you are getting to sew, I know how much you want to finish that quilt. I may have to mail Phebe's coordinating pillow cases, but I am bound and determined to have her quilt when I take her down there.

I have regretted so much not starting this quilt when I first planned it out. I thought I'd have all summer and then, of course, the bone spur broke off of my foot and scuttled my entire summer. Getting to sew even a little has been awesome.

When does P move into her dorm? Did I mention I put a countdown on my phone to the day before G leaves? 21 1/2 days left...

8/14 is dorm move in day... so I need to finish!
