Congrats to the winner! As someone who has swapped/received prizes from Jordan I can attest to the fact that you will love your prize!

And it didn't even click in my head that the convention you were at was GALA. Duh. The chorus I joined this past Fall, New Mexico Women's Chorus, went to Gala, too. Apparently they were one of the smallest groups there. If I had clicked in my brain that you would be there too I would have tried harder to raise the money to go. Although it would have been really hard to get that much time off of work. What's the name of your chorus again?

We're One Voice Chorus of Charlotte. You can check out our website at http://www.onevoicechorus.com. Gala was really an awesome experience. It was a lot to fit into a week and I wish I had planned a little better, seen more of the Denver area, but I did get to see a lot of great performances and our group was really successful, so I don't have any regrets. Also, it was amazing to see that many LGBT+ people in one place, happy and having fun, dressing how they liked and being open about their identities <3

That looks like fun. I would really prefer to sing with an all-gender chorus like yours, but there's not one here. I have not decided if I am going to be in NMWC this Fall or not, but am leaning to not.

You've made a lot of progress on your cross stitch, go you!

The flag is such a thoughtful idea. I would recommend June Tailor Fray Blocker on any spots where it looks like the black fabric might fray. Definitely test it first to make sure it dries okay before putting it on your actual project.

Congrats to the June winner!!

I'll definitely check out that fray blocker! Is that something that I apply after I'm done with my stitching or before I finish?

I'm traveling again this week, and I'm hoping to use some of the (copious) time in the car to get some more of that cross-stitch done. I'd like to have it done by the time I get back on the 18th, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too much ^_^

You can apply it anytime. Like I mentioned before, be sure to test it first because it will show on certain fabrics. :)

I love what your doing on the wall hanging. It's going to be very nice when your done! Oh that Game of Thrones cross stich is going to be epic! May need to do that for my husband.

That wall-hanging is going to be beautiful. Such a thoughtful gift!!

Your cross-stitch is also beautiful. Love that quote. I just read the first GoT book and I'm hooked! Next week, I'll get the 2nd one. I have not seen the shows since we don't get HBO. Maybe one day.

The chorus trip sounds amazing! One of these days I'd love to go to Charlotte to hear you guys. Or if you come to the Winston-Salem area, let me know and I'll definitely come.

Congrats to our winner!

I'll definitely keep you updated with our concert schedule! We start rehearsals for our holiday show at the beginning of September. We don't usually travel for the holiday show, but we'll see!

You are beautiful! Never forget that!

Yay to the winner!

I've seen your travels, and frankly, I'm jealous of your recent NY trip. I've become obsessed by a certain musical...

Congrats to your chorus! What an amazing event for you guys!

As always, your work is lovely. I second Jennifer's suggestion about the fray blocker...and testing it first. Good luck!

Wow, I am very grateful for any thing you want to send me, but no rush really I get how busy things get. Will send you a message later with my details and stuff.great work you do and the fact that you can sing and do in a choir is awesome (that's totally my word today ) , I wish I could sing but as my 4 year old likes to tell me I am not in tune, she however has a lovely voice. Xxxx

Take your time! If you could, though, shoot me that message by the first week in August, that should give me enough time to get a package together before I have to start worrying about school starting up :)
