Vulcans & Teddies

Hi everyone, </p>

Hope you have had a fantastic crafty week. Can't wait to watch your videos.

I had a bit of a rough weekend, but really wanted to post something.

Two aunts and an uncle passed away this weekend.
One Aunt went in for a bladder op during the week and suddenly passed away from a lung infection in hospital on Friday (I will refrain from commenting on the Hospital). On Saturday we got a call that my other aunt was found dead in her apartment. Then on Sunday morning we got a call, that my uncle didn't have long to live, he collapsed at home, went in for scans then an emergency op. They opened him up and then just closed him up and told the family to say goodbye. He then passed away.

I have to be honest with all of you, I feel broken right now.

And then woke up to the news on Monday that the young "Chekov" from Star Trek passed away.

Wishing all of you a happy stress- full free week ahead, and wishing Jennifer a speedy recovery from her operation.

See you all next week.

Hi sweetie. So sorry about your awful week. Sending good thoughts to you and your family.

Your Vulcan alphabet is coming along nicely. And those teddy bears! Each is special in its own way.

*hugs* from afar
I am so sorry for your losses. Thinking of you and with I could give you a hug IRL. Take care dear. Your story of the bears was very touching too., I have a very few stuffed animals from my life, too. Probably more than my daughter does, kids today just aren't as sentimental as we are I think.
Take care of yourself and I wish you well.

Oh my goodness, you've had a lot to deal with - I'm so sorry for all your losses. Virtual hugs to you.

Love the bear stories...it's interesting how most of us use things like that to remind us of major events in our lives. Your son's bear in particular looks very well loved. :)

As always your blocks are awesome.

A friend of mine has a really neat design wall made out of insulation board with batting and a flannel sheet on top. She can stick things to it or pin as needed.

Woo, Vulcan letters, I love it!

Oh, I love your son's special bear. Thank you for sharing your bears, too.

I'm terribly sorry for your family's loss. That's just so very much all at one time. Big hugs and much love to you.

A design board is a fantastic idea! I really need to put one up in my sewing room...

The Vulcan script looks great! And awwww, those teddies. So sweet of your son to want to donate his toys, and what lovely stories behind all of your stuffies! I have a teddy that I got from an ambulance driver when I was 6 or 7; he even went to college with me until my parents' dog, Bruster, became attached. Now, it's Bruster's "baby," and he sucks on it when he's tired or nervous. Pretty gross, but my teddy is definitely getting love <3
