Her dress doesn't look weird, it looks medieval! Great job on that. I was interested to hear you talk about all the Lancaster stuff because I recently read a book that put forth what they believe is at least circumstantial evidence that Richard III had nothing to do with the disappearance of the Princes in the Tower, and that it was much more likely Henry VII because it was much more the type of thing Henry would do and writings from that time period don't talk about the princes being gone until well after the death of Richard at Bosworth. It was really interesting to read about, since most folks these days, when they think of Richard III, pretty much think of how Shakespeare presented the characterizaztion of Richard rather than historical sources like court records and letters. *pushes my taped nerd glasses up*

I love your felt books, I'm sure her school really loves having those. And YES! I am really interested to see the back of your quilt because I need to start piecing a quilt for my husband and it's going to need to be pretty big, so I'm thinking your method might be the way to go.

I agree with you about Richard, it would seem totally out of character for him to have done away with the prince's, I be live that it is much more likely he said something along the lines of I wish that they were out of the picture m and someone else took t hoose words to mean get rid off, I believe the same about  Diana too, controversial I know. We have a great fiction writer over here called Phillips Gregory who writes fiction but with lots of fact as well, she has done a great job with the war of the roses if you like a good historical read, she focusses on the women. .... Love a good history geek out.

Who needs to clean when you can sew?!

The dress for your daughter is just fantastic! I have had similar experiences with costume patterns being not quite right. Still, what you made is adorable.

But OF COURSE your skirt is Doctor Who themed! What else would it be? ;)

Another adorable felt book in progress. Lovely!

I know it really has been one of those weeks where the  cleaning has been left  still I might get the whole family involved in cleanjng this weekend.

You do more in your slow times than I do in my super industrious times! Your daughter's dress is adorable and totally medieval princess! And your son's tunic is cute as well.

I enjoyed your history lesson.

If you are making clothes for yourself, why not make it referencing something you love!

Very nice felt book as well.

Oh to be as productive as you!!!!
