Well done on finishing a bunch of Linus blankets, I hope your stitches get sorted soon. Not nice having that problem.

I'm going to stitch this one in the ditch and then start working on the machine to see what's up.

Even though I knew you had fleece blankets to show, I am still impressed! The pink blanket looks even better than the sneak peeks! I love that chevron fleece, too. Very cool!

One of our Linus ladies will put a traditional binding on fleece because she thinks it looks more finished. I'm not sure how fun it would be to sew cotton around fleece, but she seems to like it!

Hmm, wonder if I have any random applique patches I can send your way. I feel like there is at least one floating around in my stash somewhere...

I really love how my pink blanket turned out. Cheryl's always look so cute, I felt like I had to at least TRY to kick it up a notch, lol. And the fleece applique is fuzzy and soft so I think some child will really like it.

I was going to put a satin blanket binding from my stash on the dog print fleece, but I only had one package. While I was pinning it around I ran out and was determined NOT to buy anything, so the black satin binding went back into it's pkg and I skipstitched and crocheted the edge instead.

Don't knock yourself out over the patches, I'm out of fleece anyway, and don't plan to buy more except one or two remnants at some point to use up with the last one I have.

Some child will adore that pink blanket. I want to touch the applique because it looks very tactile and if I want to, I'm sure they will, too!

I won't worry too much about the patches, but if they ever turn up, I'll send them your way. Here's an example of Becky's fleece blankets. She's the one I mentioned that likes to put binding on fleece. She will also do a regular cotton applique to "jazz it up!" as she says. ;)

Oh, I haven't used satin binding in years! I did a Winnie the Pooh themed fleece blanket as a gift before I started quilting that was Winnie the Pooh colored with red satin binding. I don't remember anything else about it...

You got a lot of blankets done in a short time. I am so impressed. My faves are the chevron and the doggies. The pink is super cute too, though. Great job you!!!

Thanks, i's quite the relief, I must say. I am almost done quilting a blanket for Linus, but am having tension issues now that I'm almost done so I'm working of fixing those so I can finish it. It will have to be turned in for July instead.

I love the blankets you did. I like that each one is finished diffrent. Sorry to hear you are skipping stitches. Hopefully it's a easy fix and you can start free motion quilting!

It started skipping skipping stitches even with the walking foot this week. Finally got it working right then decided to add a little FMQ outlining in each block. It's slow going because I'm still having some skipped stitches here and there but I'm making progress. I might have to cave and actually take the machine in to the shop when I'm done.
