Oh, the chooks really seem to be enjoying their new home!

I love how our kitties like to make surprise appereances in our videos. Mine haven't showed up for a while, mainly due to when I record, they've already had the morning noms and race around the house and are settled in for the all-day nap until the next time there is food, lol.

I remember when you were showing off the last of the house blocks you received and it was my first year in BB I think so you must have swapped them the previous year, 2011. Unless they are from an even earlier one and you were receiving them from a swap angel. I love them all in rows like that. The top looks great!

They regularly get fresh hay in winter so they don't get a muddy pen. they just love it!

My kitty is enjoying the fact that i'm home on maternity leave. he's enjoying all the extra cuddles

That sounds about right. I really liked that pattern, so i'm glad I've finally done something with them!

You probably do more on your slow weeks than I do on my most ambitious ones. I like the row houses. That turned out very nice.

Yay for a finished Birthday Blocks quilt!

Happy anniversary, my dear. :)

Oh, our kiddos and their high expectations of our ability to produce. It's sweet and maddening at the same time. Package should be there in 10 days or so.

The garden continues to stun. The new chooks are lovely, too.

it's very satisfying to finish a quilt top. almost as good as finishing an actual quitl ;)

Thank you

yes. i remember the day that Eoin cut a whole heap of holes in his socks at childcare and told the workers it was OK as his mummy can fix anything. whilst i possibly could fix them. the $2 worth of socks was not worth the hours of effort to fix them. He's a bit better now, but they all love having mummy make stuff for them

just love the garden. it's my refuge

Hehe, I love the sock story! Gareth still occasionally leaves a sock on my table, our unspoken "please fix this" language. :)

Aw mum, can't you whip out a Thunderbirds quilt in a few minutes? :)

I like your rows of houses quilt, very nice.

Happy anniversary!

Take some time for yourself (easy for me to say, right?) and get well soon.

Thanks :)

hubby took the kids out to the playground today so I could get a break. I'll have a sit down with a cuppa soon!
