Love love love your garden, and the veggies, can't grow anything in my garden as the monkeys eat everything. I will be posting my monkeys today, as soon as this video uploads.
The party looked like fun.

The garden is my favourite place to be. No monkeys here but we do have a lot of rainbow lorikeets that come and eat a lot of my fruit. I don't mind them so much.

The kids had a great time at the party. it was well worth the effort

If you were not tired, I would be amazed! If I had over 30 kids and various adults over for an afternoon, I'd be bedridden for a week - not to mention all the preparation you made. Your decorations and costumes are wonderful.

I must admit, I have a bit of garden envy.

I am always tired. but that's what happens when you have 4 young kiddos! They give you energy though to get through the day to make it all worth while :)

I do love my garden. I have always been a garden person and i'm just lucky that my husband is the same. We're also both very big on nature play for kids. When I grew up it was fine for kids to run off to the local creek by themselves for the day. Not so these days so we have to provide what we can for the kids here!

You are a rock star among mums! I am impressed (and a little jealous!) of all the awesome birthday crafts. That kind of thing is so very fun. Eoin did a wonderful job as your helper, too. And that hide? I want to play! So. Fun. I still can't believe he's 6!!

I can't believe that when visited you he was still a tiny thing in my belly! 6 years have gone by so quickly!

He loves his big parties! He was a bit worried the house didn't have enough decorations though! all the kids had great fun and it made me smile when I saw kids in his class with their capes on at school this week too!

kids parties aren't the simple things they were when I was a kid, but we try and keep things relative simple for the actual party. we have a garden that kids just love, so we don't do much more for entertainment other than just let them play. Kids get so much structured activities these days, that it's nice to just let them be for a while.

That being said, we have a nature play sand pit that has a slide leading into it, a mud play pit (and outdoor shower for cleaning up mud) large climbing frame, 2 swings, a larger slide, 2 cubby houses, chickens, and lots of winding paths that are great for exploring and places in the garden for hiding! We also have a balcony upstairs that over looks the garden for kids to retreat to if they get a sensory overload but still don't miss out on what is happening.

I am so far behind!

The kids look like they really love their capes. Lots of really cute decor, too!

Love the garden pics, thanks for those.
