Suggestions please

One of our local quilt guilds is having their bi-annual quilt show in June 2017 and they posted the guidelines for the challenge quilt yesterday.  I'm thinking about entering a quilt in this challenge, but would love some suggestions from you guys.  Here are the guidelines:

2017 Quilt show Challenge:
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! To you I say
"Not Just Another Quilt Show's" is on it's way

A Challenge Quilt we hope you'll make
But don't delay for heaven's sake.

Black and White are the colors to choose
But add one more color, or else you'll lose.

Heart of the Triad is who we be
So add some hearts- five, seven or three.

Ninety-six inches to a hundred sixty-four
Total sides should measure, no little, no more.

When choosing your borders, your number is free,
However four corners in each border must we see.

Now all you quilters get busy…don’t you delay
And be ready to enter your challenge on quilt
show day.

Now my ideas so far:  (1)  A larger version of my "Music Night and Day" quilt which is the night and day block in music note fabric with a blue border.  All of the fabric has music notes:  black on white, white on black and black on blue.  I'm thinking that the quilting would be the place for the hearts. (2) The Aces High quilt designed by Jennifer Ofenstein.  Since cards are typically black, white and red, that would lend itself well.  I would have to make it a bit bigger, so suggestions on what to add to it would be welcome as well.  It would also have hearts on it.

Thanks all!

I like the idea of the aces high quilt, but need to think a bit about what to add. If I think of something I will let you know.

Thinking about a thin black border, black & white checkerboard border.

Aces high is a wall hanging, so if instead of incorporating all 4 suits on a single card, which is what the pattern does, you could make 4 versions, with a single suit on each. All 4 Aces would then be represented, AND you'd get a bigger quilt. I hope I'm getting across what I mean. Red black and white make a really striking quilt, too.

I do understand and it is a good idea.

After thinking about it some more, I can another quilt to my list - the Floating Mariner. Black background or a black with white stars background and yellow and white stars. And it would really sparkle with Fairy Frost fabric. I may have to make that one for me in any case. The more I think about it, the more I want it.
