TTMT 31 - Happy Week

I couldn't figure out how to add the picture to the video, so here it is.

The design wall is by Fons & Porter; ordered it from Walmart for just under $15.

The pattern for Paper Piecing Vintage was purchased at Craftsy; it's a Sewhooked pattern.  THANK YOU Jennifer!

What a great, cheery video. ANd your PPV turned out wonderfully! I really love your fabric choices, it's so happy.

Congrats on your horsey quilt, it really is a gorgeous quilt and she's lucky to have received it.

I'm really lucky to have Karen in my life. She's the niece with beliefs, attitude most like me. Most of my family are very conservative and I am the purple sheep of the family - ultra-liberal, spiritual but not religious, into the arts. Karen is my hippy chick. I almost didn't put the horsey as an option because I thought I might want to make it for me. But I'm glad I did. If anyone else was going to have it, I would want it to be her.

Oh that's awesome. My family is super conservative for the most part as well, at least the older generations, so it's nice when you can find someone you can hang out with at a family reunion.

Love having a design wall! Laying blocks out on the floor is okay, but Lilith tends to decide to play and messes things up.

I don't really do quick work, I just have more time to work on it than those with young kids and/or full-time jobs. My full-time job is to do whatever I want; retirement is wonderful!
