Wow, those blocks are really nice. I wouldn't have thought of being able to paper piece something like that but then I don't know much about paper piecing. :) I'm sure the recipient will be very happy with them!

Glad you're better!

lol at your location...

I really like how they turned out, even if I didn't like them while I was piecing them, lol.

I like to see if anyone notices my location, lol. I do that with the instant messaging on our work network, too. For the longest time my location w as"10th Circle of Hell", lol.

You did a great job on the Bear Paws! You could have told me about the four patch, I totally would have fixed that for you. Even so, I don't think you needed me because they look fabulous! ;)

The Quick Bow Ties are going to be super fun, I really like that!

Glad you're feeling so much better. *glomps*

I think I told you I was just going to figure out how to make them a 4patch on my own so you didn't have to mess with it, otherwise I am sure you would have included them in the pattern. Then I went to actually make the pattern and was like, wait, what? Why did I tell her that? lol. So I just pieced them first and did it that way. Awkward but doable, lol.

I have been vascillating back and forth and just decided to send my info in before I changed my mind again. I'm excited about seeing what I end up with. I like how it looks like circles or gears or something.

Hey, you figured it out, that's the important part!

Making a decision is good, now you can move on to fun things!

I really like your bear paws. You did a great job. I noticed your location too and giggled. I was going to ask if you were in witness protection.

Glad you are on the mend!

I need to get those bear paws in the mail today. With everything going on yesterday it totally slipped my mind.

I wasn't at home, that's the most I can say about my location, lol.

I am really loving my design wall. Now that I have it I am so glad I made myself clear that wall off.

The bear paws came out really good! I have a bag I made many years ago with that pattern. If I run across it at some time I'll have to share it!
Glad you're feeling better!

A lot of people think of low volume as anything that's primarily white (or cream), even if it's got a bright colour for the rest of the print. (Here's an example - overall it's a quiet look, even though individually some of the prints are brighter.) I tend to lean pretty much on tone on tones in very quiet colours - it's harder to find the balance with the coloured ones.

Anyway, the blocks look really great!

Yeah, I can't see that blue on white as low volume. To me it can't be low volume if you notice the color, kwim? But since she sent the blue on white I used it, I figured she must want it in there. To me it really stands out, which would be the opposite of low volume. As long as she likes it that's all that matters.

Already working on the next set of blocks, but thankfully that's not til August.,
