I am so sorry about your kitty. It's so hard to make that decision, thankfully so far I've only had to do it once, but with a 15yo kitty myself I know it's only a matter of time, especially with Fluffy's diabetes. We're lucky to have the time that we get with a precious furbabies... they bring us so much joy! I can totally understand you not wanting to go through that again.

Your stitching is looking fabulous. And go you designing a block! I had an idea or two but so far no time to make it a reality as yet.

Lady, considering what you have been through so far in 2016 I think you have an amazing attitude. I need to try to emulate that attitude more. I think the future holds wonderful things for you because you deserve joy and peace. You are talented and kind-hearted and as my late father would say, you're "just an all-around good people".

I am very, very sorry about your kitty. I have been been there and it never gets any easier, but they are so worth it for all the love and cat crazy in the long run. I also have kitty paw casts from my lost fur babies and I cherish them. Keep strong and keep stitching. Focusing on the positive will keep you sane. *hugs*

I'm so excited to hear that you've designed something for the X-Files Design Invitational (you got the name right!). :D Also, YAY that you're enjoying the QAL so much.

It's so good to see the Doctor Who blocks popping up again. Quilt Alongs are the gifts that keep on giving.

Yay for retail therapy!

I'm so sorry about your cat. When I had to put my Polly down (Australian mix doggie)I thought I'd mourn myself to death. The second hardest thing I've ever done. I swore I'd never get another dog, but Gracie turned up and I'm so happy she did...she fills a dog-shaped hole in my heart. Long rambling way to say I can relate. Love the paw print, what a great idea.

You don't have a computer at home or cable? No wonder you get so much done. :) Maybe I should unplug for awhile!

Congrats on designing a block! Go you! It's fun to see how happy and excited you are about that.

You have been a busy girl! One of the best ways to keep positive is to keep busy.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty and understand how you feel. I always say that when I lose one of my furry babies, but somehow always find another one - or maybe they find me.

Your IWTB blocks are lovely! Your stitching is just beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing your Invitational block!

Take care, and keep on doing what you are doing!

Darlin', I'm crying along with you. Having lost 2 cats in the last couple of years, I know the struggle. And I know that retail therapy, craft therapy, and talking with friends are about the best things to hold on to.

*hugs you tight*

I bounced with excitement at your excitement about your X-Files block!!! It's always fun to do something like that!!! Even if I'm not doing the X-Files quilt, I'm enjoying seeing all the work coming from it. :) Your stitching is beautiful!!!

*hugs you again*
