Love how this quilt turned out❣I would have a hard time giving it away too. Outstanding quilting on it. I also like what you did for the pillowcase.

Thank you! It's seriously inconsistent and wonky stitching but all the scrunchiness makes up for it. hope to mail it tomorrow if I can squeeze time to print my postage between meetings.

Woo for getting Musical Improv in the mail TODAY! *throws confetti*

It turned out deliciously scrunchy! That's my favorite part, too. And the scrappy back? Love! I'm glad you shared photos because it looked great hanging on your fence.

I love the labels, too, that's such a good idea. The scrappy pillowcase is also great. It's awesome that you were able to incorporate fabric from your mom's stash. ♥

I cut out a bunch of dithering in the video, but I've got back to back meetings from 9am-almost 2pm today, then I have my own actual work to do after that. I got it labelled last night and then when I was going over it making sure I hadn't missed any little threads anywhere I saw I labelled it upside down, lol. SO I had to take the label off. Need to reattach in the proper orientation today at some point... the odds of getting it mailed today are pretty unlikely, tomorrow, though!

That quilt has been uncooperative from the start and I am somehow unsurprised that the label was upsidedown. One last bit of cheekiness before you send it off!

I know right? I had to just laugh and shake my head when I saw I had labelled it upside down.

Aw thanks. It's pretty wonky quilting, but I decided it's squishy and comfy and I'm still a newbie when it comes to quilting, let alone FMQ so I am happy with the result!

Wow, that turned out beautifully. Lucky brother to have a sister that loves him enough to do that for him! :)

This is the brother who figured out a chord progression easy enough for me to learn to play my song for the show last month. He pretty much pep talked me into it. He's a pretty good brother as they go. ;)

I need to get started on my x-files quilt. Life has got in the way so far.

Love the quilt :)

I'm enjoying watching all the ttmt videos again. hope I can keep it up!

Ah well, you have an awful lot of life in your life at the moment, so that's TOTALLY understandable.

Thanks, I love the quilt too. It's going in the mail tomorrow and I'm going to be sad to see it go, but also happy it's finally on its way to its intended home!

We'll be happy to see you anytime you can manage it. We miss your face!

Woohoo! Finished quilt! It really turned out great - so many interesting prints and a fun improv-y look.

The pillowcase is great - I like that piano key border around the cuff.

I only purchased 2 fabrics to finish it, the red for the border and back, and the large bit of white with black musical notes/staff for the back. So it was truly improvisational and using up stuff I had lying around the project room, which I definitely need to do more of. I was looking for a specific color last night and I still have WAY too many various bins with fabrics in them.
