That was a really great prize package. It can be super expensive to send stuff overseas, but it's also fun to receive items from "across the globe" as well, so turnabout is fair play, right? That's why small swaps are fun. You can focus on stuff that maybe isn't so heavy or bulky and still have the fun of swapping with someone overseas. Pre-cuts can be really pricey, here too, but I don't think they cost as much, relatively speaking. I try to look out for good sales or closeouts at the two discount stores in town that occasionally get craft supplies in.

Your bracelet is very cute! I agree about the steampunk clothing. I'm not interested it squishing myself into a corset. I'd rather just wear my comfy hippie skirts and tshirts.

I am so glad you liked your package!!! All of the fabrics you received were bought while on sale, so they didn't cost that much. After I bought them, I couldn't decide what to do with them, so I thought maybe someone else could use them. Enjoy!!! Don't worry about the postage - I knew when I signed up that I might be sending overseas and I didn't mind that at all. I just hope your postman was delighted as well. Hee hee.

I really like your steampunk cuff. And that bag will be perfect to take on your Potter holiday.

Enjoy your crafting time this week! And feel better soon!

The cuff looks fun! And the Harry Potter bag. You paper-piece very nicely! I don't know that show (tv show? movie? book? I don't know...) the dog comes from, but it really looks fantastic.

Fun prize! I'm sure you'll enjoy all that fantastic fabric!

love the steampunk wrist wrap :D

The Marshall looks great. one of these days i'll have to do some paw patrol blocks for my kiddos

I'm in Australia and the jelly rolls and charm packs are expensive here too. We can find a reasonable amount of fairy frost here but it's very expensive compared to how much it costs in the US. I went to the US years ago and bought a whole heap of fairy frost while I was there

Woo, what an awesome prize pack! I wonder why there's such a difference in the price of precut material between there and the US?

The steampunk cuff is really nicely done. :)

The Paw Patrol looks great, and YES absolutely contact the designer if you have a comment or suggestion. You can send it to me, too, and I'll happily pass it on.

Fun steampunk-y bracelet!

The prize is absolutely amazing. How wonderful!

On a personal note, my daughter's study abroad program has been canceled. She's completely devastated. We're trying to find an alternative for her as this is the last semester she'll be able to do something like this.

You are amazingly sweet to make such an offer! She's applied for another program and we're now waiting to hear back. Because of the Shakespeare course falling through, she got her application in just a day or two before the deadline, so it shouldn't take long before we know. If that doesn't happen, I will definitely get in touch. I can't tell you how much just the suggestion means to me. ♥
