That's a lovely quilt you are fixing. I have one my grandmother made my parents that I can't have on the bed anymore because it's coming apart at the seams and I am afraid if I try to fix it I'll ruin it so it's just folded up on a shelf/table right now in my bedroom. I like the pink and brown you got for the binding, I think that will work really well.

Great job on your embroidery. Sorry you overcut your Deep Throat. You could always add more of the background fabric, I really don't think it would be noticeable, if you decide you aren't sure about redoing it later. Great job on Fox and Scully. I enjoyed Skinner he went really quickly, no as many tiny details on that one.

I bet your gift for your mom will be greatly appreciated, look forward to seeing.hearing about it next week. :D

I love that your trying to save an older quilt. I have an embroidery machine so if you wanted i could embroider you some bible verses. Love the t shirt and am sure your mum will love her present. Check out this weeks crafty gemini video , its an elastic book mark. Looks quick to make. Have a great week. X

The old quilt is lovely, so nice that you are fixing it. I love the pinkish fabric.

OOh really love the Enterprise t Shirt...

You X files blocks looks fantastic, I am sure just adding a piece on the one, should do the trick, you wont even see that after it is quilted.

Nice that you're re-doing an older quilt rather than throwing it out. It'll make you even more appreciative of it.

I really like that t-shirt and wish I could have seen the concert. Your X-files blocks are great and I agree with the earlier comments that if you add a bit of background it probably won't be at all noticeable once it is quilted.

I've saved a couple of older quilts and it always feels so good. I hope you share the finished product when your thrifted quilt is repaired.

The Star Trek show sounds AMAZING. I so want to do that!

Your X-Files blocks are looking great! I agree with Jewells, you could definitely add a little background fabric to Deep Throat if you decide you don't want to restitch him.

Happy birthday to your mom! ♥
