Holy cow that orphan block quilt is so cute! I hope some parent and child are very happy with it.

You and Vanda might just drive me crazy with all the secrets. Oh, wait, too late. I've been crazy for years.

Very lucky husband. I'll bet he had a very happy birthday.

Thank you again for all the blocks! I've had fun with them so far. :)

The secrets will be revealed soon. Hers is a little more exciting than mine, I think!

The hubby had a good day. He took the day off, and was laaaazy most of the day. :)

Awesomey awesomness! I can't wait to see the finished super secret stuff! Also that is a brilliant idea for the shower curtain. I'm assuming you plan to put the bit you cut off with the grommets at the top with the mosquito netting in between like a big holey stripe? I don't see why it wouldn't work, other than maybe the holes are too small? But I would think it would work.

Great job on the orphan block quilt. I keep trying to make big meanders like that and always end up getting smaller and smaller. I really just need more practice I guess.

Yep, that's the plan with the shower curtain. I should have mentioned how mystified the lady that cut my fabric at Hancock's was. She didn't even know they sold mosquito netting! Neither did I, I just went looking for something that would work!

I learned to FMQ from an art quilter, so it took me ages to GO BIG with it. A few of my first Linus quilts took me hours. I just realized I took the FMQ class in 2009, so I've been working at it for a while. Practice does help oodles!

Every single time I see your pillowcases, I want to make some more. I have some awesome HP fleece fabric from Amber, that is going to make an awesome pillowcase.

The orphan block quilt is so cute, I love it.

MMM, cupcakes... secrets....
