Hello, I'm Susan and it is a pleasure to meet you. I love the hospital bed quilt for your friend.

I've been reading some of your posts to get to know you a bit and discovered we have some things in common, other than the sewing thing. I read a lot - but my reading material these days is mostly light and fluffy stuff.

I also have a huge love of theater and volunteered at a couple of local community theaters for about 20 years. I've been on stage, off stage, helping build the stage, painting the stage, making costumes, and helping dress the actors. My favorite things to do were acting and stage managing; but I was game to try just about anything. I stopped being extremely involved a few years ago, although I still work box office and make an occasional costume. My favorite roles were Mother in 'Night Mother, Aunt Eller in Oklahoma, Bloody Mary in South Pacific and Ouiser in Steel Magnolias.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching your production numbers Hard Knock Life and Thingle Ladies.

Oh, and we're both in NC - I'm in Winston-Salem.

So good to hear and see you again! I love your quilt for your friend. I'm sure she knows what loving thoughts went into it.

Take care and I hope we get to hear from you again soon.

Thanks! I'm happy with the way it turned out despite it being simple and, of course, rather wrinkly.

Welcome back, its great to see another face, amazing quilt for your friend, what a rough time she must be having.

It's definitely been rough, but she's been so brave and I'm hoping she's in the home stretch. She's spent the better part of the last 3 months in the hospital and she'll be there for another month now that the transplant has happened, but *crosses fingers* if she's lucky, that will be it.

Nice to see you again Jordan :D

The quilt looks very nice - you did a great job with it and I bet your friend really appreciates it. I hope everything goes well with her transplant!

It looks like things are going well for her. She's been pretty sick since the transplant, but that's kind of to be expected. Here's to hoping her body accepts its new immune system and becomes a BAMF!
