I love the quilts. The log cabin is my fav. Can't wait to make some cute buttons!

Thank you! I do love log cabin blocks and I was so happy to have the opportunity to do something special with those. :)

I agree! I love log cabins. They can be arranged into so many different patterns.

I'm so glad my orphan blocks/rows are being used and given to some deserving kids.

Thank you again for the lovely blocks. They truly are "instant" quilts for me to make! :)

I love how your work space is shaping up.  And all the lovely quilts, ☺.
I hope you feel better soon.  Big hugs.

The space is slowly (very slowly!) coming together. I love having handmade goodies surrounding me. :)

Mostly I'm just tired and have a stuffy nose. I didn't realize how obvious it was until I edited my video!

Whoa, Suzy's been busy! :) What a great donation for Linus.

Nice idea about having handmade things around you in your workspace. I like that blue and sort of multi stripe mini/block back there.

I somehow never saw the X Files but have seen clips. The blocks on this that you're doing look so appropriately mysterious and really nicely done.

Hope I'll be back to making videos by next week....

Aren't the blocks from Suzi amazing? I'm thrilled she shared with me!

The multi-stripe block you're seeing is Braided Kaleidoscope. It's one of my published blocks that was collecting dust! You can see it better here.

I started watching The X-File when it originally aired. I feel so old now watching the original episodes. Dang it! I'm glad you think the blocks look mysterious. The batik does it, I think!

Looking forward to seeing you again! :)

Aww shucks, folks. I'm glad to get them out of my stash. Nice blocks but they just weren't talking to me. I'm so glad to have found them a home where they will be put to good use.

You've done such lovely things with the X-Files stitch-a-long! I'm not a huge fan of the show, but it's almost worth watching just to do your awesome project :)

How could they not choose your most excellent blocks?? The sewing machine and buttons are great, and they look even better with the colors/fabric that you chose for your samples. Pfft, their loss!

Brilliant work on the orphan block projects. It's lovely to see how generous everyone is, sending spare blocks your way. You do such great work for Linus :D

Thank you, m'dear!

I suspect you'd really enjoy The X-Files. Eli and I did an epic rewatch in the fall including all 9 original seasons and both movies in their appropriate order. I forgot how GOOD it is.

My blocks have been overlooked many times. Ah well, that's what self publishing is for! ;)

So many blocks! There will be many "quick quilts" in your future. ;)

I am not a drawing person so I am super impressed with people like you who can draw things, and even more impressed when you draw people.

You sing, I draw. It's always been a good balance.

I wish I could draw. You do great work creating all those blocks. Excellent work on those quilts. I agree with all the others the log cabin is awesome!

Thank you! I've drawn as long as I can remember. Being able to translate it into fabric and thread is my happy place!

Orphan blocks are some of my favorite things. They make such fun, happy and quick quilts.

X-Files, yay!!

It's neat to see the different areas in your sewing room (and to recognize things on your wall - the turtle I made, of course, but also the minis you've made adn all that).

Your favourite things blocks are in such fun colours. It's going to be a really neat quilt, all put together.

That's a pretty incredible collection of orphan blocks! Yay for Linus and Suzy!

The log cabins are pretty amazing... they all look so perfectly and beautifully sewn. A nice tribute to your friend's mom to share them with someone in need.

I'm about 1/3 done with the big clean out. If time allows, I'd like to have the rest done by March, but who knows!

Favorite Things is the first project I've done entirely in solids. It's challenging, but fun!
