Lots and lots to show, so the video is a bit longer than I would I have liked. I did try and edit it a bit shorter.

BB-8 has been submitted to Fandom in stitches.

BB-8 - adorable!

I really like your Star Trek comm insignia. And that ducky quilt is wonderful. I know the recipient is going to be thrilled!

I am always amazed at how much you get done each week. Especially when you include your design work.

By the way, I agree with you about the potato fabric. A couple of years ago, I made a bunch of potato bags (for cooking baked potatoes in a microwave) and would have loved that fabric for them.

I keep looking for unique stuff like that, which is rare to find here in South Africa. Whenever I find awesome stuff, I put it into my special box and only dig into it when I am looking for something specific. Like pebbles, sand, grass. I love the potatoes, my dad knows me well.

I loved making BB-8, he is so cute.

All this work, that's why I promised myself to tone down a bit, but I just can't help myself.

You are super productive!!! Go you!!!

I'm so glad you got your package and that you liked the fabric I sent.

So many lovely works. Yes, you completely undervalued yourself. I hope you let the lady know in a nice way. You don't want her telling all her friends and ending up with a bunch of undercost commissions.

You are right, when i give her the quilt, then I will ask her (somehow) to not mention the price I quoted her.
I am going to have to make a plan and work out how much to charge for my time spent making the quilt. I have somehow only worked it out to just enough to cover the cost of the fabric in the quilt. This excludes the time spent, fusing, thread, designing the pattern, and making the quilt, which is about a months work.
I need to look it up, on how to work this out.
I think because of my mistake in the cost, I am not really enjoying it to much. I enjoyed making it, but there is this underlying feeling of "why am I doing this to myself".

Whatever day you film works for us.

Oh my gosh, the comm badge is AWESOME! How awesome!

Here's to Christmas cards in December!

Hehe, I can't wait to see glow and the dark eyeballs! It's early yet, so it's something to look forward to. ;)

Oh wow, you have used up the Misty Fuse! I'm glad you like it so much.

It is wonderful that you have the opportunity to teach new paper piecers. I'm sure you'll do a wonderful job. :)

My goodness, the duck pond quilt is going to be amazing. Get that quilt done so you can back to doing what you want!

All the quilt stores here do the same thing with make a block and get the next pattern free. It's a good system, it definitely gets people to participate.

I watched the whole video!

I love my com badge. Just felt silly, when I have it on, every time I touched the badge I keep making the clicky sound it makes on Star Trek. LOL.

Can't wait to start with the eyeballs, I have to force myself to wait, so that I can finish a couple of other UFO's first. Sigh.

I did enjoy making the duck pond quilt, the biggest applique project so far. But I was just disappointed with myself, with working out the costs incorrectly. Luckily what she is paying, will cover the cost of the fabric.

Miscalculating really does suck. I am sorry you won't make anything off the actual project.

There's just too much to do this year!!

Also, I'd totally make the communicator sound...

Wow, your applique is just amazing. You had so much stuff to show! I look forward to hearing about your adventures in QAYG. That is on my list of things to do this year. I am thinking I will do the blocks for my coffee quilt that way just to get it done AND try something new at the same time.

I can't wait to see your glow fabric in action. I might have to try some one of these days.

Can't wait to make the eyeballs quilt, just need to finish a couple of things.

QAYG is something I have been thinking about, but haven't tried, because I am unsure how to do it. "I know there is loads of videos on this" Now I can give it a go, and if I don't like it, then I wont try it again.

Wow...the duck pond quilt is going to be awesome! Definitely not a project I would take on myself.
Cost is always hard to figure out. You don't want to feel that you are over charging the person, as that might put them off having you make whatever for them, but the cost of supplies, as well as your time, equals money?! Don't know if that made sense...
Love all the fabric..especially the potatoe fabric!
And, yes, I did watch the entire video!
