TTMT #350 - Bring it on, 2016!

I'm trying a free trial of the paid version for ttmt. Please let me know if you are seeing ads. They have been really overwhelming lately!

Heres' a full recap on the insanity on my To Do List (meaning photos and text!).

Tagging hardhatcat because I FINALLY finished my Australia quilt. WOO!

Wow, you have a lot of things on your to do list.  I kind of wrote mine out after checking last year's and was to ashamed to show it.  Maybe next week.

I have seen your chocolate box on Craftsy before and I love the look of those, especially in those gorgeous bright colors.  Really beautiful.

I don't think there is anything wrong with charging for your patterns.  You did warn everyone.  If they follow your blog, then they will be notified when the pattern goes live and go and download it.  If I miss any, I would definitely buy them.

I love all the quilts you showed today.

It was one of those years where I kept finding things I forgot about. Oops!

You nailed my feelings on the free pattern day. The internet can be a crazy place and I have gotten some, let's say, unkind messages.

And thank you! It was wonderful to show so many projects that I've enjoyed working on!

No ads here so far...LJ really has gone crazy with them lately.

Whew, you are a crafting cyclone! And incredibly organized, color coded, alerts and all. Go you!! :)

The Australian quilt really did turn out beautifully. Hope hardhatcat sees it!

Ooops, I'd forgotten about the Favorite Things blocks...going to get it now. I don't see any problem at all with offering it for free for a day and then having it for sale for a perfectly reasonable price. Pretty generous of you, if you ask me.

If the ads stay gone, I may spring for a year of paid. Those things were driving me nuts!

I was somewhat appalled to realize my list is longer this year, hence the color coding and google alerts! Must. Finish. Projects. *snort*

Cat has commented on Facebook, but I can't tell her how much I love my quilt. It has all kinds of Australian critters, including sea turtles, my favorites!

The $2 thing caught me off guard, but then the Internet is good at that. I thought today was a good day to clarify I wasn't trying to punish anyone for being busy on the first!

I love your 1st finished quilt of 2016! Man that's a list! I can't wait to see what you do for your Halloween quilt. I enjoyed block 1 of my fav things. For the recorded you did not keep it a secret that after the 1st that people would have to pay. I jumped on the crazy train and set a reminder every month on my phone. I can't wait for tommrow. Matthew and I love the look of the quilt that you put out last Wensday! Happy New Years!

When I work on designs I get paid for, "my" stuff gets put on the back burner. It happens way too much!

Thank you so much, I've had such a blast seeing what everyone is doing with My Favorite Things. Can't wait for February!

My Australia quilt gives me Big Happiness. It is so darn snuggly, too!

You are so darned organized and have inspired me to TRY to get a bit more organized too. But don't put any money on that happening. Love the Australia quilt.

I may have some orphan blocks I can send you. Once I get my UFOs sorted and ready to start working on, I'll gather them and send them to you.

Please don't feel bad about charging for the block after the 1st. You gave plenty of warning and, besides, you already give away so many patterns and projects. $2 is a very small price to pay for an original Jennifer O pattern!

You may have noticed by now that once I start doing a thing I find it very hard to stop! So it is with the yearly list! I really hope the adding details (and Google alert!) will help. :D

Oh, I'd love more orphan blocks! I have a good many sets started but other than PoD, nothing close to ready for a whole quilt. :)

The $2 thing caught me off guard. It hasn't been particularly polite criticism probably because I'm spoiled by how nice everyone is in our communities! In the end, I chose to not respond because there wasn't an actual question to answer.

That is a crazy list, but I know you will make progress on everything because you are amazing! *glomps*

The australia quilt looks amazing. I bet it feels so good to snuggle up in that thing.

I have PL this weekend and have nothing finished. I am getting reasonably close to finishing the sideways shell I've been working on for months, so there is a slight chance it will be done, but have three nights with chorus things this week so I haven't been watching any tv, which is when I crochet. So I might have to turn in 2 in Feb to get caught up. We shall see!

I need to put together my list for this year. Maybe this weekend.

That list! It's longer than last year and I'm not terribly happy about that, but all the things on it that were pre-existing are very close to being done!

My crochet is on the back burner while I hand embroider. Gareth rides home with a friend everyday, so I don't carpool anymore, so no car crochet and I can't do it at home unless the kittens are asleep. They don't seemed fussed about embroidery, which is a very good thing!

Your Australia quilt is just gorgeous. I love the pattern and colors.

Your UFO list is truly inspiring. I am now writing a list of my own UFO's!

It was neat to see the TaBA quilt because my kids and I just re-watched all The Hobbit movies on Saturday :)

Thank you for another great TTMT!!

Thanks, I'm so happy to have the quilt done!

That UFO list...as long as I don't get off track, I'll get it done!!

So much packed into this video! The quilts at the top both look great.. it's always fantastic finishing things and the Australia quilt is such a special one, so that's really great. I also really like the topsy turvy trees - it's a fun non-Christmasy take on a kind of Christmasy item.

Fun seeing/hearing about all the things on your list! You seem pretty good about tackling older projects, so I can imagine you'll get most of them done :D

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to make a to-do list or if I'll just kind of make a plan to get quilts done for my family and tackle the rest as they come.

Would you believe I edited this craziness down from 30 minutes? Yikes! I'm waffling with sending some of my bigger quilts out for quilting. I love doing it myself, but it's the whole time thing and I want these puppies DONE.

You nailed my inspiration for Topsy Turvy Trees. :)

Exciting and challenging all at once!
