The pillowcases are great. I haven't been to my Joann's since that fabric came out, which is probably a good thing, lol.

Someone at my Project Linus group this past weekend brought one of those attic window quilts from the same tutorial. I really love that, I may have to try it. It's such a neat effect.

I had the same problem almost 2 years ago with a sewline pencil. I had done an autograph quilt, so I had to press the blocks to heat set the autographs and forgot I also had stitching lines dreawn on there with the sewline. I quilted over it with white thread and it never completely came out while I had the quilt. My hope was just that it would eventually come out with several washes. It stinks when you have to learn these lessons the hard way. I totally forgot I'd be heat setting the pencil, too.

I just went in and ordered the HP fabric, did not want to make trips stalking Joanns. I loved making the pillowcases, my older sister has had a really bad year for 2015. I wanted her to have something she can open on Christmas Eve with her not so little kids and enjoy. That caulk pin, it hurt! Matthew did look at it and said we should keep it. Live and learn!

Thank you kindly Vicky, I had fun making all the Christmas gifts this year. Man that chalk pin....I don't believe I'll ever use that again.

Oh, what a bummer about the chalk pen. :(

Lovely quilt! Gotta love the crinkle.

LOVE the HP pillowcases. That's a really good use of the HP fabric.

As a band parent, I really hope your nephew chooses band. There really is nothing at all like it. The candy bouquet is great.

Your wall is a perfect video background. I'm finding it very striking!

That's too bad about the chalk pen - I've had a similar thing happen... it's just so easy to make a mistake! Did you try vinegar? I've read that it can help - put some vinegar on a clean cloth and rub against the stains. I don't know if it works (I got my biggest colour issue out using Dylon dye remover, so there were other options I didn't try out in the end), but it might be worth it to try.

Fun fabrics!
