Your fix for your daughter's jacket is genius!

Congratulations on reaching your Linus goal. Love the little fishes blanket. One of these days I'm going to get my serger out of the cabinet and actually learn how to use it. Maybe.

The fitbit bracelet is really cute too.

Thanks! I always dread getting the serger out and then I have fun when I use it. I've found that I just need to revert back to the manual and follow the instructions, because I usually go a long time in between using it and I forget everything! It eats thread, but it's nice to have such a quick finish to something like that fleece blanket.

I have to come up with custom options for the fitbit because the bracelets that you can buy for it all make me break out in a horrible rash.

You're really rockign it with the serger :D The jacket looks really great. Love the contrast stripe. And the fleece blanket looks really nice - it turned out well!

The wrist band worked out well well.. I bet it's more comfortable than the ones that come with the fitbit. (I don't like having things around my wrist, so I always felt constricted, even wearing it loose. But that must be a little more like just having a shirt sleeve against your wrist.)

It's exactly like having a flannel shirt buttoned at your wrist. It's super soft. The ones that come with the fitbit gave me a HORRIBLE rash.

Thanks! I haven't seen her actually wear it yet, so it may still end up in the donation box, but at least a gave it my best shot. It was a really weird-fitting top!

All the yummy fabric, yay!!

The sweater recon worked great! I've tried that on a couple of t-shirts, but never anything like that. I like it!

Woo for serged fleece! It's almost instant gratification, isn't it??

Really nice FitBit cuff! I wouldn't have known that's what it was for if you hadn't mentioned, which is in itself a bonus.

OMG I am so glad I ordered that fabric. The blue I wasn't sure about on my monitor, but in real life it's EXACTLY what I wanted.

I hit some snags along the way with the serger, but all in all it was fairly quick and painless. Cutting a big piece of fleece evely is still the most difficult part! It's bigger than my cutting mat.

I LOVE the new cuff. Seriously. No one knows what it is, and it feels just like the cuff of a long sleeve shirt, so it's really comfortable. I must make oodles to go with all the clothes.

I think tshirt remnants would work great, too.
