Also, I did a thing. You can find out more details about it here. Disclaimer: I was SILLY nervous. I talk about that more in today's video.

I love all off the postcards, makes me want to make some as well. Feeling inspired.

The fabric looks perfect for your projects.  And it reminds me to go through my stash and see if I need to buy some.

Just listened to the podcast, you did great, you sound so happy.

Maybe next year we can do another postcard swap. It was really fun. They are almost instant gratification to make!

I am so glad you think I sound happy. I still haven't listened!!

I am keen to join in the next postcard swap, or any other swap. But maybe after the Christmas rush.

Crazy, crazy, crazy. Making the last minute adjustments to the Jedi robes, will post those next Tuesday. Thank you so much for the pattern, I used that one. Very easy to make, I am not a lover of making clothes. It took me a lot longer to get "Mr Giant" to stand still for 5 minutes so that I could pin the hem at the bottom of the robes. I tried on "his" robes and looked more like a Dementor, with the sleeves and robes trailing behind me "for miles" We are going to watch the movie on Thursday next week, on a massive 4d curved screen, so that it feels like you are sitting right in the movie.

I will post a picture of us in our robes, as soon as I can.

And the Minnie mouse quilt is almost done.

This is what I don't enjoy, the anxiety about finishing something on time, then it doesn't feel like fun anymore.

The same to you, dear.

What a fun postcard swap! All good, and so different.

YOU are a quilting superstar too. Just sayin'. :)

Oh, please, you're making me blush!

The postcard swap was lovely. I hope we can do it again next year.

Just listened to your podcast. You didn't sound nervous at all! Great job.

When I told hubby Tim you said happy birthday, he said, "I got a 'happy birthday' from a celebrity.

Thank you! I was SO nervous. I think I understated it in the video, I'm really glad it wasn't noticeable.

You give that Tim a squeeze from me. I'm just a regular gal that makes a lot of noise. ;)

Knowing you I pictured you pacing as you talked to her. You sound bright and happy, but also just a tad out of breath like you are pacing from nervousness, which I do pretty much every time I talk to ANYONE on the phone, lol. I did not know who Pat SLoane was, so I was surprised she wasn't an older lady, which I should have expected, considering the fact that she is doing a podcast, but you know, she is such a big name and they (the big names) all seem to be a little older.

Fun postcards! One of these days I will get in on a postcard swap. I love what Kristel does with her small projects and fabric postcards, too, the clothesline is a great idea!

I was indeed pacing and out of breathe. I think I was sincerely holding in a panic attack. Pat Sloane and I have exchanged emails before, I've even written an article for her on paper piecing. She's super nice. I have no explanation for my reaction!

The postcards were fun. I made mine in an afternoon and they were so instant gratification compared to what I usually do!

I plan on listening to the podcast today. I agree with everyone else YOU are a big "famous" name to me :) I remember when I got an autographed 100 Blocks from you. I showed it to my husband "Look she signed it" (with a big grin) Even though I just joined in on TTMT I have watched you for years. You have helped me keep on keepin on and inspired me so much!

Well, I really am flattered and am definitely happy to hear you say that. I just think of myself as regular old me, so it's hard to see myself as anything but. :)

Pat Sloan
You did a great job on the show. I was so proud of you and thrilled that she asked to you be on. I have met her a few time at Houston Festival and took a class with her and still get excited to be around her. I can understand why you'd be shaky, but I couldn't tell it was any different than talking to you in person or on TTMT. (I wouldn't tell you this if I didn't mean it!)

Re: Pat Sloan
Thank you, my dear, that does mean a lot to me. :)

I love having the hanging line to hook things on... I really need to clean mine up a bit, but it's always fun to see what's on there :D

The post cards are fantastic.. I wish I could have figured out a way to participate in it! Every year I say I'm not going to sign up for all the things, but I keep doing it and then get overwhelmed by the end of the year. Sigh. Maybe next time!

Oh, I need to remember to download that podcast!

I have the postcards clipped to my design wall for now because All The Things are still going on, but I do really want to do the clothesline! We should do a 2016 swap when everyone isn't quite so busy.
