Awesome additions to the stash, love it all.
I must save up and make a trip to all the fabric store in the US.

I hope you get sorted with your furnace soon, not nice being cold.

Here is sunny South Africa, it is so hot, I feel like walking around naked. Most days it has been 104 Fahrenheit/40 Celsius. And at night, thunder and lighting, and piles of non stop rain (the rain is good) as our cattle has been dying from the drought.

It's a beautiful thing having so much near to hand, even if I have to order it from another state. :)

Furnace is sorted. Thank goodness!

I can't imagine that hot...I mean it does sometimes get that hot here, but not for days on end...the rain would drive me mad. It rained so much during our spring/summer season. Like nearly every day.

Not cool about having no heat! I so sorry! Send warm thoughts to you from NC! Great fabric haul! I'm also sorry about the loss of one of your family members.

Losing the heat for a few weeks was definitely hard. But it's sorted now.

The fabric is pretty isn't it. I'm so addicted. :)

Thank you for the condolences. *hugs*

Sounds like a lot of crap all at once! Hope you get the furnace situation sorted out soon... that's rough!

Yeah, it's a record for a crappy week that I don't want to break in the near future...or even the distant future.

The heat is thankfully sorted now! *happily sticks toes in heat stream*

Sorry to hear about your furnace. :/
Maybe some more fairy frost will help? WebFabrics carries the entire line of Fairy Frost (all 130 colors according to their site) and you can buy it in yards or by the fat quarter. So if you are looking for a specific color they've got you covered. I've ordered from them before and it always comes quickly. Fairy Frost is under their traditional basics category.

Re: Sorry to hear about your furnace. :/
Oh it did. I ended up with 8+ more yards after the shop...and that website....oh, my wallet is in for it now....

Your dad is fortunate to have you. *hugs*

I hope you get that heat situation sorted soon. I think Ken got Phebe's space heater from target and it heats her whole room (which is pretty small I admit) better than the furnace ever did. But you can't get your mojo up to full strength with cold fingers!

Looks like quite a good haul! The place that I bought that fairy frost recently has special deals on Black Friday where at 7am you get ALL fabrics at $7 per yard, including fairy frost, EVERYTHING. If it weren't such a long drive I would totally do it, and I NEVER shop on Black Friday. At 8am it switches to $8 per yard, and 9am $9, but then starting at 10am for the ret of the day it's still all 25% off your entire purchase. Might still have to go for that. I only wish it weren't such a small cramped shop. Don't want a panic attack.

*hugs back* My sister actually came up to help dad out with some things...which was really good because she knows I haven't a clue what to do and I don't handle things to do with my grandfather well. So that was nice.

Heat is thankfully sorted out!

It was a beautiful haul...but I crave more... I truly am a completest when it comes to stuff like this... I want all of it..

*glomps* I avoided sales this year...saved myself the trouble after all the fairy frost buying...

Id did NOT shop, other than spending way much money at thousands of bolts getting my xfiles fabric, lol

Late watching this...oh man, I hope you can get the furnace situation sorted out soon. Even with ours working I basically spend the winter sitting in front of a space heater; I'd hate to think how cold I'd be without a furnace.

Condolences to your dad, and you, about your grandfather.

Those stars and stripes fabrics are interesting. And Fairy Frost!:) I still have the FF you sent some time back and still haven't decided what to do with it, but still look at it and pet it occasionally. :D

I don't get cold easily...so if I'm cold, it's REALLY cold. Hell, we had snow today, and I went to work wearing a HOODIE...so yeah, if I'm complaining, it's a problem.

thank you for the condolences. The loss for my dad is much worse than for me, but it is appreciated.

Yeah, I don't know what to do with the stars and stripes yet...and they turned out to be "obese eighths" not FQs as I thought...but I'll think of something. :) You know, the fairy frost, did you get the green one? Maybe it would go with the strawberry placemats?

Being cold is the pits! I hope your furnace is fixed really really soon.

Sounds like you've had a roller coaster week. Being able to get back to your crafting will even out the rough spots, I hope.

Love all the fabric you picked up on your trip. I love fairy frost!!!

Furnace is now fixed! So YAY!!!

Bad roller coaster week for sure. :( But now I can move on.

I am hopelessly devoted to FF...

Big, giant, awesome, glompy Sandbox Sister hugs for all the crazy the last couples of weeks. I am glad you got to spend time with your family, despite the cold. *hugs*
