TTMT (Talk to Me Thursday)

I keep thinking about making a video this week, but just haven't had the gumption to do it. No problems, just no inclination.  Besides, I don't have anything to share except a photo of all the snaps I've made in the past few weeks.

I have made a decision.  I am going to make up a pretty good inventory of snap tabs, book marks, refrigerator magnets and maybe coasters to sell at craft fairs.  I have a niece who makes a lot of arty things - paintings, jewelry, cards, etc. - and I think it would be fun for her and I to share a booth. I don't want to do it alone and she, as a teacher and single mother, doesn't have extra $ available to rent a booth.  She lives in Hickory, NC - about 80-90 miles away - so I don't get to see her as much as I'd like.  But there are bunches of craft fairs between here and there especially in the autumn.  So now I just need to convince her - which shouldn't be too difficult.

I will probably not take stuff to The Crickets Nest (our senior arts and crafts store) this year.

Update on the embroidery machine:  It is doing some better, threads breaking less often, but not completely cured.  I'm just trying hard to fix it so I won't have to take it back to the shop.

I think sharing a booth is a great idea. I've often thought about doin g one of the smaller craft fairs in the fall, but don't feel like I would be able to build the inventory of any type of things by myself. Sharing would be a good alternative, if I had someone here to share with.

I really hope you can get your machine back to purring.

I made a couple of snap tabs yesterday and had no problem with the machine. Before that, I took out the bobbin case, cleaned out underneath it, reduced the bobbin tension and put it back together. So far so good!
