Peace Sign embroidery pattern purchased from Embroidery Library athttp://www.emblibrary.com/el/default....

In the video, I think I referred to Wendi Kruskie as Crazy Cat.  I don't know where that came from and I apologize.  She's Kwilt Krazy.

I like your peace sign! Maybe put a peace sign in one square per row so it travels around the quilt. Don't feel like you have to put something in every single square. Just stagger stuff around, it's a really lovely quilt all on its own.

I look forward to hearing about your road trip!

I like the idea of "scattered" peace signs.

Road trip is tomorrow!!!

I love your breakfast, craft store and bookstore date. That sounds like exactly what my hubby and I would do.

We're having very similar weather, though a wee bit warmer.

Oh my goodness, the quilt top for your son is GORGEOUS! I like the peace sign, how fun! Hmm, hmm. I would almost say to do several random peace symbols (or as many as you like) and maybe a couple of other than random music notes or something like that and then quilt the rest of that sucker! Maybe quilt the entire thing in rainbow variegated. That would really pop in the black bits!

Definitely let us know how your visit to Wendi goes! We'd love pictures or video if you can. Woo, TTMT meetup!

Hmmmm, wonder if Wendi has any rainbow variegated thread??? I'll find out tomorrow! Teri and I may stop by a couple of other quilt shops between here and there.

That quilt is super gorgeous, love the colors. I think if you alternate with another pattern it would be great. But putting different colored Peace signs in each block would also look great.

I'm kind of leaning toward alternating with other patterns.

I love those lazy days were you just do what you want,  I don't get those at the moment as kids always want plans.

I love your son's quilt it looks amazing. The peace symbols are really cool, I think your really brave using your embroidery machine on a quilt, I will be watching with interest as I would love to give it a go, it never occurred to me that you could do that.

I think the peace symbols would look great every other square m music notes woukd be good and very personal,  I am sure he will love it what ever you do.  X
