Love the history lessons...I used to read all about that era and beyond into the Tudors and all of Henry VIII's shenanigans, but have probably forgotten a lot of it. I think everyone here would probably like to hear more. :)

That skirt's wonderful, enjoy wearing it when it gets cooler!

I just left a really long comment and the LJ ate it. :( Anyway great job on your skirt and flag! You are making me want to make a new skirt. Perhaps one with daleks. Hmmmm.

The husband and I were watching an old b&w copy of the the BBC's Age of Kings cycle of Shakespeare's history plays. We've got a preorder coming of the new segment of The Hollow Crown, which comes out soon, so we were having a geeky discussion about whether Richard III was really a villain or a scapegoat. Also about just how deformed he was, because in those days if he was truly as deformed as some plays and movies show him, he never would have been allowed to live back then, so it was likely just maybe a bit of scoliosis and slightly withered arm or partially paralyzed arm. This is how we spend our weekends. ;)
