no show this week

i don't think i'll get a video in this week.  i've been really short of breath lately and my asthma got bad enough for me to end up in emergency via a trip in an ambulance on Tuesday.

I'm OK now, but still have to take it easy for a while.  that being said i took my knitting with me to emergncy. The day before i had decided to knit a scarf to wear for my son's sports day so i took that with me to help calm me down while i would be waiting.  This is it so far

I've also done the border on another quilt that was in my UFO pile and have been working on stuff for Connall's birthday. today though I might try sitting at home and resting. I don't want to have another trip in an ambulance for a while.

Bless your heart! Sorry about your asthma but glad you are feeling better. Do take it easy for a while. Ambulance rides are no fun at all.

Nice scarf!

His sports day is next week and i'm hoping I can wear it for then. I don't normally wear scarves but I think it would be good for cheering him on as this is his very first sports day!

Oh my goodness, that sounds awful. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Yay for crafting therapy to help you get through an ER trip. Sitting home and resting for awhile sounds like a very, very good idea. :)

still have to be careful, but much better now.

I was given a lot of ventalin which makes your hands shake and your heart race. some simple knitting helped calm me and steady my hands

I hope your ashtma calms down so you can enjoy Eoin's sports day. I'm also glad you found something to help you calm down while getting your treatment. Hospitals aren't exactly restful calming places. Feel better soon!

I was in there for nearly 7 hours before I was discharged, so I was glad I had something with me.

I'm still having to be very careful with my lungs and yesterday was dreadful weather, but today looks OK, so hopefully I can actually get outside a bit today. getting frustrated by being stuck inside all the time

I can see that would be frustrating and nervewracking as well. Hope the weather stays good for you. I forgot you are heading into winter now.
