I am super excited for both projects to start.
Need to see if I can get some of the super solvy stuff before January. I normally have to trace on the fabric, a bit of a pain.

(Will do the prize drawing just now, when I get home from work.)
Starting to get used to the time difference, all of you are just waking up and I have nearly finished work.

My phone notifies me as soon as your TTMT is up, so today I got to start my Tuesday morning watching TTMT! I had just gotten home from dropping my boys off at school and had the teapot going for my morning Pero and enjoyed your video!

That iron on stuff is so cool. I love all the products we get to enjoy these days. I think our grandmothers would be amazed!

That makes my day, I'm so glad you had time to watch this morning. :)

Believe it or not, the dissolvable stuff just sticks in place, no ironing needed. I really like it so far.

So the Solvy you are using seems really similar to the Stick n washaway I used on some of my Pod Book titles earlier this year. It's definitly tough on my arthritic hands, although I love the idea of being able print the design and then just start stitching. I think my only concern with printing them, and is why I have yet to try it in my printer, is that when I am stitching on dark fabric I'm using really light floss and I had some concern about whether the printer ink would get into my floss somehow, so I'd be really interested to hear if it disappears all the way when you get around to dissolving your solvy from the finished design. Definitely let us know how that goes!

Also, my IWTB fabric should be delivered by Thursday, woo!

The printer ink came entirely out of mine, so that wasn't an issue for me, but it might be different depending on the printer ink. Maybe you could do a tester?

Woo, fabric!! My Fav Things fabric is also on the way. :)

Yeah I should test it, the not knowing has kept me from using it and it would definitely be a time saver! I'm glad to hear yours came out easily!

Want fabric! Although I can't use it until likely Sunday at the earliest, I have ALL THE CHORUS things this week. Welcome to December!

You need to take a break as starting January you're going to be crazy busy with two SALs. :)

Interesting about the Solvy, I hadn't seen that one before. It gives me even more ideas that I probably will never get to, lol!

I like that fabric on the wall - nice black, white and lime green combos.

Happy birthday to your new adult! :D

It is so weird to me that Kid #2 will be legal tomorrow. I am so not old enough. ;)

Good tip on the Solvy product. I got the Paper Solvy water soluble stabilizer to try on my Dr. Who stichery since I wanted to be able to print it out. The directions say to pin it in place or use a temporary spray glue. I had also heard you can use a glue stick to stick it down outside the cutting area. I found that when I hooped it, I didn't need to have it pinned or glued. It was a little more difficult to stitch through because it was going through basically a layer of fabric and a sheet of paper.

Glad you got the postcard!!

I am so looking forward to the new year and new crafty challenges!

I'm really liking the Sulky so far. It's a little harder to stitch through, but not losing my lines and not having to transfer the pattern has been worth it so far. It slows me down a little, too, so my stitches are neater!

That Solvy product sounds neat. I may give it a try. I always wondered how in the world I would be able to trace something with a dark fabric. That sounds like it would be great. I have received ALL of my postcards :) yay! Looking forward to next year I know it will be here before we know it. Happy Birthday to your not so baby, baby. My baby is 29 ahhhhh :)
