Those are gorgeous blankets - I'm sure whichever child gets them will love them.

"I can finish this during an episode of Downton Abbey"...my kind of multi-tasker! :)

Thank you! I normally don't use pastels, but since these were handed to me I figured I'd take advantage of the opportunity for a head start.

I can't do anything too involved during D.A., but weaving in ends while watching tv is something even I can manage, lol.

I love the colour you used to join the granny squares... looks great.

That ripple afghan looks amazing - shame it didn't come with the pattern attached :D

Your PPV is looking great - can't wait to see the next bit (whenever February gets here...)

I love it too. Joining all these squares will be a great use for my random single skeins still remaining now that the Scrapeater is done.

I have wanted to do a ripple but then don't want to try something that I have to concentrate on so much. Maybe I can reverse engineer the pattern.

OMG I love you! I had so much fun watching your TTMT. Your liveliness gave me a good chuckle. What a doll you are. :)
You could totally figure out that ripple! It was so pretty it deserves to be finished. I loved the joined grannies you put together too. Is there a link to instructions for that join? It really looked great. Well done you!

...and now that I'd clicked back to the video I see gat there is. Cell phones compartmentalize too much. I will pin that once I get on my laptop. Thx!

I'm sure whenever I get around to actually sitting down a looking at the ripple I could figure it out, it's just getting myself to sit and do it that's going to be the trouble. Fortunately it's small enough to stick in a ziploc for years if need be. ;)

When I am filming I become almost manic, trying to talk about everything I want to talk about. I suppose I could make a list or something, but when I've tried then I forget to actually LOOK at the list, lol.

Oh dear, I have NINE ttmts to watch!! SOMEONE has not been having gaming, which is eating into my video-watching time. ;)

The Glorious Scrap Eater came out WAY bigger than my Linus one did. It's amazing!

Granny squares are absolutely tribbles. Or gremlins. Don't feed them after midnight!Linda takes the ones that Mary sends to me and then sorts them into sets and adds a skein of yarn so she can just grab and go. LOVE the join. It looks fantastic.

Ripple ghans are usually just one row of a repeating pattern, so you could probably rip out (or just count!) one row and figure it out.

ANYWAY, awesome starters for you!

The blocks for Greg's quilt look great. I know I've seen them, but stuff always looks more real in video. :) I'm so looking forward to seeing it.

Also, YAY, PPV! It means so much to me to know you're using one of my patterns to make a memory quilt from your mom's fabric. *hugs*

I'm definitely going to get a lot of head starts from that giant sack of tribble squares.

I'm so happy with how far I've gotten already with Greg's quilt. The top is almost done I just need to add the border to the left side. Starting to feel a bit under the weather today, though, so I'm taking the evening off and going to bed early.

It just worked out really well that your BoM just happened to look cute with her old-fashioned-looking fabrics. ANd it was a great suggestion to use them to make a memory quilt.

*hugs back*

Oh no, I'm sorry you're not feeling well! Lots of hot tea, and maybe a night off. ;) *hugs*
