I'm sneaking your video in while everyone is out to lunch. Muwahaha!

Those fabrics are great choices for both of those quilts, you would never know that that one was a xmas fabric. Are you counting down to retreat yet?

Wow, what a great resource that antique patterns place is, I'll definitely have to chec that out!

Thanks! I love the fabrics I chose for those tops and have been smacking myself for putting it off for so long. The holiday fabric at work has been marked down to less than 1/2 price, so yeah, BARGAIN!

What me, counting down?

44 days... ehem.

Just for amusement and therapy, Antique Pattern Library is a neat place. I spent hours one night reading about etiquette and cracking up the whole time!

Oh, gorgeous fabrics! I'm sure it feels great to have the materials on hand to get a'quiltin'!

I really love your solution for the "leftover" blocks. They just look like they were meant to be in that top.

Wow! What an incredible site! Thank you so much for the link. I adore vintage ads...as a kid I used to spend hours poring over the Sears Roebuck & Co. catalog reprints from the turn of the century. Yep, THAT kind of kid. :)

It does indeed feel like One Step Closer to having actual quilts instead of UFOs!

And thanks for the compliment on the top. I'm ready for those swap blocks to get moving on!

No worries, I was THAT kind of kid, too! I loved looking at my grandmothers old catalogs and magazines when I was a kiddo. :)

That fabric for the alphabet quilt backing is really nice - doesn't look Christmasy at all.

It'll be great to get those projects in the works, eh?

I've used the antique pattern site before for embroidery, but never looked much further than that. Looks like there must be a lot more interesting things there than I thought.

Thanks! I'm super excited to start seeing some of them quilted. :)

Seriously, I want to get so much DONE and move on to new things. The older projects kill me because I've improved SO much!
