OMG, I feel so spoiled to get to see you again!

Hehe, Pouncy, you go girl!

Super pretty Linus afghan. I have also done vertical stripes when ghans get waaay too wide!

Always happy to help, you know that. ;)

gettin' busy
Seriously, I'm still giggling at that!

Wonky Stars are so, so easy and make a brilliant baby quilt! It sounds like you have it all planned out!

I've been trying to be super organized going into Tuesday morning so that I have time to record, edit and upload. So far so good!

I'm happy this ghan will eat up a lot of yarn. I'm not buying any more more until I can fit all of mine AND my bag of Linus yarn in the same big bin.

Seriously, same due date twice in a row, how funny is that? Right around the time you're going to holiday parties, hmmmm.

I'm thinking unless someone suggests something that grabs me, I'll start making wonky stars after I get at least ONE of my to-do list items completely done.

Due dates...my dad has 6 sisters. 5 of them were born in March. Just sayin'! ;)

So glad you're keeping up and posting every week. It totally gives me a lift to see your face!

Aaaaaa! Pouncy attack! Adorbs.

I think a rainbow wonky star quilt would be perfect. Those blocks are so quick and fun to do, too. You might as well make it as enjoyable as possible!

I really love that afghan. The stitch pattern is really nice...it looks quite fancy from here. Vertical stripes will only add to the awesomeness.

I'm so glad the camera didn't fall off! I saw her down there, but I didn't think she'd really jump. "Look at me, not that camera, pay attention to me!"

I'm really liking the idea. Hopefully I'll get started soon, but I need to finish a project off my to-do list first. Seriously. Need to get busy with that list. Ahem.

Thanks, The colors are prettier in real life, too. It's so easy. I love hdc, but was afraid it'd be too tight if I did it every stitch of every row. The in-between rows with the *skip 1 ch, 2hdc* really make the fabric drape nicely, without being too holey.

The stripey afghan is really great - I like the openness (without being really loose) of the stitch you've used.

The wonky star idea really does work out really well and you could do it really scrappy and it'll work either way, like you said.

Incidentally, I don't use quilting feet when I quilt - just a regular foot. I bought a walking foot, but I find everythings shifts more with the walking food than without, waste of that purchase!

Really, that's interesting! I thought I was the only one without a walking foot. The two times I've quilted something I've just lessened the presser foot tension.

I don't know if my problem was that the walking food I bought is a generic one (they don't make one specifically for my machine) or something else, but I haven't felt like it's worth using. A lot of people really do swear by their walking foot though. I figure if I can make it work without, then I'm not going to stress about it.
